How weplay

If you're in, you're in. Plans change, so if you can't make it, leave the game in the app as early as you can and someone on the waiting list gets your spot. Not showing up leaves a team short: three no-shows in 30 days pauses joining for 14 days.

Every player, whatever their level, background, nationality, religion or gender, gets the same respect. No harassment, abuse, threats or discrimination, on the pitch or in the app.

There's usually no referee, so the game runs on honesty. Call your own fouls, go for the ball not the player, and leave reckless or violent play at home.

Ratings only mean something if the events behind them are real. Hosts: record what happened, mark attendance fairly, and publish accurate results. Nobody pads their own stats.

Use your real name and a photo of you. No fake accounts, fake games, spam, scams or inappropriate content.

• Book the pitch before you publish the game.
• Be clear about the price and the level you're expecting.
• Arrive before kick-off and look after the players who came.
• If you have to cancel, cancel in the app as early as possible so everyone hears straight away.

Warm up, bring water, and respect the heat: in summer, drink more than you think you need and stop if you feel unwell. If someone is hurt, stop the game. In an emergency in the UAE, call 998 for an ambulance or 999 for the police.

If something isn't right, report it from the player's profile or the game in the app, choosing the reason that fits: harassment or abuse, dangerous or violent play, inappropriate content, fake or spam, a no-show dispute, a game that didn't happen, or a host who didn't turn up. You can also block anyone: you won't see their games or find them in search, and they can't join the games you host.

Every report is reviewed by the Golazo team. Depending on what happened, we may warn someone, remove content, or suspend them from joining or hosting games.
